Elevate Florida is administered by the Florida Division of Emergency Management. It coordinates residential mitigation projects through application review, funding decisions, construction preparation and project completion. An application does not guarantee a funding award.

Elevate Florida accepted applications from February 7 through April 11, 2025. New application intake is closed. The August 2026 program snapshot, published September 4, reports continued property awards and bid walks. It distinguishes FEMA review, funding obligation and the final award. Applicants should use their case manager and official portal for their individual status.

JAS is a contracted builder participating in Elevate Florida. The program coordinates contractor assignment; do not assume a homeowner may select JAS. JAS’s elevation construction role includes site preparation, steel, foundations and related project work, with a specialized lifting team handling the physical lift and set.
