What to understand
A slab-on-ground home and a framed floor over a crawlspace require different access and support arrangements. The condition and reinforcement of an existing slab must be investigated. JAS takes a conservative approach when evaluating reinforcement and may use substantial engineered steel support to distribute the loads. The lifting plan must respond to the actual building, including additions and floor level changes.
What to ask about your property
What is the existing condition? What further investigation is needed? Which parts of the proposed work depend on engineering, site access or local approval? Bring these questions to the project review.
