What to understand
A helical pile is a deep foundation element installed into the ground. Whether it is appropriate, the required capacity and the design of its connection to the elevated structure are engineering decisions. Ground investigation, installation access, structural loads and exposure conditions inform that work. A video is useful for understanding the concept; it cannot specify the foundation for a different property.
What to ask about your property
What is the existing condition? What further investigation is needed? Which parts of the proposed work depend on engineering, site access or local approval? Bring these questions to the project review.
